The President of Ghana Christian University, Rev. Dr. James Yamoah, has been sentenced to 14 days imprisonment by the High Court for contempt of court.
The ruling stems from the dismissal of a lecturer who was involved in an ongoing legal matter concerning allegations of admitting and graduating unqualified students. The court found Dr. Yamoah's actions to be in defiance of its proceedings.
