An Accra Circuit Court has remanded two men, Alhassan Amidu and Francis Owusu, in custody following their alleged involvement in the theft of 54,000 litres of petrol. The stolen fuel is valued at GH¢932,040.
The accused, identified as a driver and his mate, are also facing charges related to setting fire to the tanker truck. This action is believed to have been an attempt to conceal the alleged crime.
