Thomas Partey will tell the court he is not guilty of two new charges of rape. The footballer was reported to have been charged last month.
A court hearing took place where this was stated. Partey himself was not in court for this initial hearing.
The charges relate to two alleged incidents of rape. These are said to have happened on a date in December 2020.
Partey, aged 32, was formerly a player for Arsenal. He now plays for the football club Villarreal in Spain.
