A special court session held at the Sunyani Central Prison has resulted in the release of four remand prisoners whose cases were struck out. The proceedings also saw two inmates referred for psychiatric evaluation.
In addition to the releases and referrals, 31 other inmates had their remand warrants renewed. These individuals are scheduled to reappear in court in two weeks, allowing for further legal proceedings in their respective cases.
