A pharmacist and artiste manager, Shadrack Agyei Owusu, has filed a lawsuit against the Ghana Police Service and the Attorney General.

He is seeking GH¢5 million in damages. Mr Owusu claims his arrest by armed police officers at his home in Accra was unlawful and humiliating.

The court filing alleges that his human rights were violated during the arrest.
