A release warrant has been signed for Sedina Christine Tamakloe-Attionu, the former chief executive of MASLOC.

The Attorney-General has withdrawn a legal motion that was preventing her release from custody.

This action followed an earlier decision by the Court of Appeal which acquitted Ms. Tamakloe-Attionu.

Court proceedings confirmed the withdrawal of the motion by the Attorney-General.

The judge was then able to sign the necessary release warrant.

Ms. Tamakloe-Attionu will now be free following the court's actions.
