Prosecutors investigating the Wontumi-Samreboi illegal mining case had unusual doubts about one of the accused. They initially suspected that the second accused person might not be a real human being.

This was revealed by Deputy Attorney-General Dr. Justice Srem-Sai. He stated that the prosecutors held this belief during their initial investigation into the case.

The individual in question is Kwame Antwi. He was named as the second accused in the illegal mining proceedings.

The case involves allegations related to illegal mining activities in the Samreboi area.

Dr. Srem-Sai did not elaborate on why prosecutors held this peculiar suspicion about Mr. Antwi.

The legal proceedings continue as authorities work to resolve the charges.
