A law lecturer says delays in criminal cases are mostly caused by prosecutors. Dennis Adjei Dwomoh, who teaches at GIMPA Law School, shared his views on the justice system.
He stated that the courts are not the primary cause of these delays. Instead, issues within the prosecution process create the biggest problems.
Dwomoh is against the idea of setting up tribunal courts to speed things up. He believes this would not solve the root cause of the problem.
His comments suggest that improvements are needed in how cases are prepared and presented by the prosecution.
The lecturer’s opinion highlights a potential area for reform within the legal system.
