The National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has stated that the ongoing court case involving a prominent New Patriotic Party (NPP) figure, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Wontumi, could significantly affect the ruling party.

Speaking on the matter, Nketiah emphasized the importance of allowing the legal process to unfold without interference, suggesting that in his own party, such a situation would not receive support. He indicated a belief in the rule of law to take its course.
