Nana Appiah Mensah, known as NAM1, made a statement in the High Court. He told the court that the Bank of Ghana offered advice to his Menzgold companies.

This advice, he claimed, was about how his businesses should be run. He is the former Chief Executive Officer of the now-closed Menzgold Ghana Limited.

Mr. Mensah is currently on trial. He faces accusations of using his companies to trick and defraud more than 16,000 people.

The court proceedings are ongoing. The charges against him relate to inducing people to invest money with his companies.

Legal actions are continuing to determine the outcome of these serious allegations. The case involves a large number of affected individuals.
