An Accra High Court has released a person accused of murder. This decision was made because the court did not find enough proof against the suspect.

The court is where cases are decided by a judge or jury. For a conviction, the prosecution must prove the suspect is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

In this case, the judge determined the prosecution failed to meet this high standard. The evidence presented was not strong enough to continue the trial.

As a result, the court ordered the immediate release of the accused. The judge upheld the legal principle that a person cannot be held if there is not enough evidence.
