A mechanic has been sentenced to two years in prison. The Accra circuit court delivered the sentence.
The convict is 28 years old. He was found guilty of stealing GH¢50,000 from his employer.
The court ordered that the mechanic serve his sentence with hard labour. He admitted to the charges against him.
The theft occurred while he was employed by his victim.
The Judicial Service confirmed the ruling.
