A court in Accra has handed down a 10-year prison sentence to a man.

The 40-year-old man was found guilty of stealing GH¢50,000.

He also faced a charge of conspiracy to commit crime.

A businessman reported the theft to the police.

The court determined the man committed both offenses.

He will serve his sentence with hard labour.
