Football player Harry Maguire has received a shorter suspended prison sentence. A court in Greece made the decision.

The incident happened on the island of Mykonos in August 2020. Maguire was found guilty of charges related to the event.

An earlier court ruling had given him a suspended sentence of 21 months and 10 days. He was found guilty of repeated bodily harm and attempted bribery.

The legal process has now resulted in a reduced sentence. The new term is 15 months, also suspended.

Maguire is a player for Manchester United and represents England.
