A private legal practitioner, Nana Obiri Boahen, has advised President John Dramani Mahama to build more courts.

He suggested that constructing new courts should be a higher priority than establishing regional tribunals.

Boahen's remarks were made following a recent survey by Global Info Analytics.

The survey indicated that a large number of Ghanaian voters have expressed their views on this issue.

The lawyer urged the president to follow the examples of former presidents Kufuor and Akufo-Addo.

These past leaders were known for their efforts in expanding the country's court infrastructure.

Boahen believes that more courts will better serve the public's need for justice.

The call highlights ongoing discussions about improving Ghana's judicial system.
