A legal expert has commented on the number of people arrested for making statements during a past administration. He believes this is a bad record for former President John Mahama.

The lawyer said that while insults are not acceptable, arresting people for their words is not the right solution.

He suggested that if people are arrested for their utterances, the state might end up arresting everyone.

This approach, he argued, is not beneficial for society.

The expert made these remarks in a recent statement.
