A court has granted bail to a 33-year-old trader named Latifa Salifu. She is facing charges for allegedly stealing a baby.
The alleged incident happened at the Mamprobi Polyclinic. The complainant is identified as Precious Ankonnal, a 29-year-old trader.
The Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit DOVVSU Court in Accra heard the case. Her Honour Annette Sophia Essel presided over the proceedings.
Latifa Salifu was granted bail in the amount of GH¢200,000 by the court.
The case will continue through the legal system.
