A High Court has dismissed an application made by Kwame Baffoe. He had asked the court to throw out a defamation case against him.
Dr Ransford Abbey filed the defamation suit against Kwame Baffoe. Abbey claims Baffoe defamed him.
Justice Klorkor Okai-Mills made the ruling. The judge stated Baffoe's challenge to the court's location was not properly brought before the court.
Baffoe challenged where the case was being heard. The court found this challenge was incorrect.
However, the judge has sent the matter to the Chief Justice. This is to decide the correct place for the trial to happen.
The legal service referred the venue question to the Chief Justice for a final decision.
