Lawyers for Freddie Blay have announced their intention to file an appeal. This appeal challenges a Circuit Court's decision in Akropong. The court ordered Mr. Blay to be remanded in police custody.
The legal team will take the case to the High Court in Koforidua. They aim to overturn the remand order.
Freddie Blay is the former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party.
