The lawyer for former NPP National Chairman Freddie Blay has stated his client is unwell and at home. Gregory Asiedu argued that Freddie Blay is not a person who would run away from legal proceedings.
Asiedu described the court's decision to remand Blay as an abuse of the court process. This happened following Blay's alleged involvement in a demolition dispute.

The lawyer emphasized Blay's current health condition as a reason against being held.
He believes these factors should have prevented the court from ordering his remand.
