Lawyers for former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Freddie Blay, are planning to appeal a court order. The order sent their client to police custody.
This follows a land dispute that is happening in Kitase in the Eastern Region.
The legal team announced they will file an appeal. The appeal is scheduled for March 17. It will be heard at the Koforidua High Court.
Mr Blay was remanded by a court. Police custody is where he is being held for now.
The land dispute involves properties in the Kitase area.
Further details about the proceedings are expected following the appeal filing.
