Lawyers for Freddie Blay are challenging a court decision. Mr. Blay is the former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party.
He was remanded into police custody. This happened because of a land dispute at Kitase in the Eastern Region.
His legal team announced plans to appeal the order. They will file the appeal at the Koforidua High Court.
