Lawyers for former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Freddie Blay, have said they will appeal a court’s decision.
The court ordered Mr. Blay to be kept in police custody.
This order is linked to a dispute over land in Kitase in the Eastern Region.
Mr. Blay’s legal team intends to challenge the remand in court.
Further details about the land dispute have not yet been made public by the authorities.
The case is proceeding through the judicial system.
