A food vendor named Kande Seidu has been sent to jail for 20 days. She was found selling food using an open fire in the Alabar Market.

This action breaks a rule set by the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly. The court decided this was a violation of the order.

The case was heard at District Court Two, located at Prempeh Assembly Hall. Her Worship Deborah Gyawa Donkor presided over the court.
