A fisherman has admitted to an assault charge. He appeared before the Elmina District Court.
The court heard that the fisherman physically attacked another fisherman. The dispute was over a fishing net. He pleaded guilty to the accusation.
The Elmina District Court ordered the fisherman to pay a fine of GH¢1,800. This is according to court filings.
