A 24-year-old farmer, Dauda Ibrahim, has been ordered to pay a fine of GHS 7,200 by the Nsuta Circuit Court after CCTV footage implicated him in a series of Akpeteshie thefts. The thefts targeted a local trader in the Ashanti Region.
The court's decision followed the presentation of compelling video evidence that linked Ibrahim, also known as Yaro, to the repeated pilfering of the local spirit. While Ibrahim has been sentenced, reports indicate that an alleged accomplice remains at large, and investigations are ongoing.
