A driver has been sentenced to five years in prison by a circuit court in Accra. The court found the 35-year-old man guilty of his crimes.
He was convicted on two counts of stealing and unlawful damage.
The stolen goods were valued at GH¢50,000.
The sentencing comes after a lawful court proceeding.
This action by the court upholds the law against theft.
The driver will serve his sentence with hard labour.
