The Court of Appeal has acquitted and discharged Sedina Tamakloe-Attionu, the former Chief Executive Officer of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC). The decision overturns a previous 10-year jail sentence handed down to her.

The former MASLOC boss had been convicted of causing financial loss to the state. However, the appellate court's ruling signifies a significant development in the legal proceedings, effectively clearing her of the charges that led to her imprisonment.
