The High Court in Accra has dismissed a motion filed by the former Chief Executive Officer of the National Buffer Stock Company, Abdul-Wahab Hanan Aludiba. The motion sought to strike out the entire charge sheet against him.
The court, led by Dr Justice Srem-Sai, ordered the prosecution to amend two of the 20 charges. This means the case will continue with revised charges.
The specific details of the amendments to counts four and nine were not immediately made public.
This decision means that the legal proceedings against Mr. Aludiba will proceed, albeit with modifications to the charges.
The case involves allegations related to his tenure at the National Buffer Stock Company.
Further court dates will be set following the amendment of the charge sheet.
