A British woman has been sentenced to six years in jail in Hong Kong. The court found her guilty of blackmail and obstructing justice.
The woman, identified as Isabel Rose, is 26 years old and from London.
She had travelled to Hong Kong in 2024. There, she accused a British banker of rape.
However, a court later determined she had engaged in blackmail. She was also found to have prevented the course of public justice.
The court handed down the six-year prison sentence.
