The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has officially distanced himself from the recent arrest and ongoing prosecution of an organizer from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Agona West.
The NDC organizer faces charges related to the publication of false news and making offensive comments allegedly directed at Dr. Bawumia. A statement was issued to clarify the flagbearer's position on the matter.
