Lawyers for Bernard Antwi Bosiako, the NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman, have asked a court to let him out of prison. He is currently at Nsawam Prison.
The lawyers filed a request on August 6th at the High Court in Accra. They want Mr. Bosiako to be released on bail.
This request is made while his appeal case is ongoing. The court filing seeks his temporary release pending the appeal decision.
