A court case has emerged concerning allegations of a fraudulent scheme to recruit individuals into the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF). The prosecution has identified the complainants as Fatima Adam and Abdul Malik Ali, a Prisons Officer and an okada rider, respectively.
It is alleged that between 2023 and 2024, Ali met with an individual named Mbaye. Mbaye reportedly claimed to have connections that could facilitate the recruitment of interested persons into the GAF, leading to the current legal proceedings.
