The Accra High Court has given the defence team for Kwabena Adu-Boahene more time. They must file a submission of no case to answer by September 25.

This decision comes after the prosecution concluded its presentation of evidence. The court is hearing charges against Mr Adu-Boahene and other accused individuals.

The charges involve the alleged diversion of GH¢49.1 million. This amount was reportedly handled by the National Signals Bureau.

The legal proceedings are part of an ongoing investigation into financial impropriety.

Mr Adu-Boahene previously served as the Director-General of the National Signals Bureau.

The court will review the defence's submission after it is filed.

Further legal actions will depend on the court's decision regarding the no-case submission.

The case continues to unfold in the Accra High Court.
