The Accra High Court has adjourned the trial of Kwabena Adu-Boahene, former Director-General of the National Signals Bureau. He faces charges along with two other individuals.
The case involves allegations of financial misconduct concerning a contract for a cyber defence system. The contract was reportedly worth $7 million.
The adjournment was granted because the Deputy Attorney-General and prosecutor, Dr Justice Srem-Sai, was unavailable. The court will resume proceedings on September 23, 2026.
This trial is part of ongoing efforts to address financial impropriety within public institutions.
