The Accra High Court has dismissed a lawsuit challenging the National Democratic Congress's (NDC) directive requiring Ministers, CEOs, and Managing Directors to resign six months prior to the party's Regional and National Elections. The ruling allows the party's electoral guidelines for 2026 to proceed as planned.

Presided over by Justice Sedina Agbamava, the court's decision effectively validates the NDC's internal regulations concerning the conduct of its party officials during election periods. This outcome resolves a legal challenge that sought to impede the implementation of these specific electoral requirements.
